About Joan
Dental Assistant
Joan is my chairside assistant. She has been on our staff since July of
2000. I would be lost without her. She is the one who is responsible
for making sure that all instruments and materials are in the right place at
the right time, and that all working spaces are sterilized after every patient
leaves. She knows all procedures as well as I do, and is absolutely
uncanny at being able to anticipate what is needed next. Many of our patients
have observed how well Joan and I work together. The majority of the credit
for that goes to Joan. She has an engaging personality and a grand sense
of humor. She brings over two decades of experience and skill to her profession.
Joan's interests are many, including training and showing horses, dance (she
studied dance at Betty Spooner's and the North Cascades Dance Theater) and a
a great love of music. She plays Jazz flute and the bagpipes!
